The objective of Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management qualification is to equip learners with the underpinning knowledge, understanding and skills required for a career in the health and social care sector at a managerial level. Upon successful completion of Level 4 + Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management qualification learners will be eligible to gain entry into Year 3 of a three year UK Bachelors degree / BA Top Up or pursue Level 6 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management.
This qualification enables you to take on a supervisory or management role in your chosen area of work. This is the ideal choice for those moving up in a caring role. Supervisory or management positions involve a high level of problem-solving competence.
This qualification at RQF Level 5 represents practical knowledge, skills, capabilities and competences that are assessed in academic terms as being equivalent to Foundation Degrees, Higher National Diploma (HND) and Year 2 of a three-year UK Bachelors degree.
Learners will take:-
120 credit Level 4 Diploma having 6 units (20 credits each)
120 credit Level 5 Diploma having 6 units (20 credits each)
Learners who are seeking to progress to higher education to take a Bachelor’s degree course in Management. Learners could also progress directly to employment.

Relevant NQF/QCF/RQF Level 3 Award/Diploma or at the level of GCE/GCSE or equivalent qualification
Mature learners with work experience in case of no formal qualification
Learner must be 18 years or older at the beginning of the course
